// redondo beach

You run the business by day. You run the admin by night. That's the part we fix.

AmiFi is a South Bay engineering firm based right here in Redondo Beach. We work with the owner-operated practices, offices, and shops around town to automate the invoicing, scheduling, intake, and re-keyed paperwork that eats your evenings, built into the systems you already run.

// where the hours go after closing

The business runs fine all day. The admin waits for you at night.

  • The admin that starts after closing.

The real work is done and then invoicing, scheduling, and follow-ups begin, most of it after everyone else has gone home. The business runs on your evenings, and nobody planned it that way.

  • Patient and client intake, typed twice.

The form the patient or client already filled out gets re-keyed into your practice or case system by hand. Every new file runs the same slow gauntlet before anyone can actually help them.

  • Scheduling that turns into phone tag.

Booking, rescheduling, reminders, and no-show chasing all happen by phone and text, one at a time, and a missed reminder is a missed appointment you don't get back.

  • Invoices chased by hand.

You send them one by one, then remember which ones went unpaid, then send the awkward second email yourself. The money is owed; collecting it is a manual job that lands on the owner.

  • The one spreadsheet only you understand.

The whole operation quietly depends on a workbook you built, that only you can update, and that nobody else can be handed. It works right up until the week you're not there.

  • Systems that don't talk to each other.

The booking tool, the billing software, the inbox, and the paperwork each hold a piece of the truth, and you're the one carrying it between them. You're the integration layer, by hand.

// how it runs for a redondo owner

First a call, then we come out when the work calls for it.

Same senior engineers from the first conversation to production. No junior handed your account, no discovery template filled in from another state. And since we're in town, whatever on-site work the job calls for is a short drive, never a hassle to schedule.

    Intro Call, Over Meet

    FREE · 30 MIN · GOOGLE MEET

Thirty minutes over Google Meet, usually within the week you reach out. Walk us through how an intake, a booking, or an invoice actually moves through your day, and who handles the front desk and the books.

You'll get an honest read on the call. If the numbers don't justify automating, we'll tell you and part as friends. If they do, we name the two or three highest-value targets and quote the Roadmap, which is usually where we come watch the work in person, and we're only a few minutes away.

    WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH
    • An honest read on whether automation earns its keep here
    • The highest-value targets in your operation, ranked
    • A fixed fee for the Roadmap if you want to go deeper
  2. 02

    The Automation Roadmap

    FIXED FEE · 2 WEEKS

A fixed-fee, two-week engagement. We spend a day or two watching the process end to end, map how your booking, billing, and paperwork really connect, and rank the automation targets by projected time and dollar return.

You walk away with a written plan you own, whether you build with us or not, plus a fixed quote for the build. If you build with us, the Roadmap fee comes off the build price.

    WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH
    • A map of your workflows and where your evenings go
    • Ranked automation targets with projected returns
    • An integration plan that fits the tools you already run
    • A fixed quote and timeline for the build

    Build, Integrate, Support

    FIXED SCOPE · WEEKS

You approve a fixed scope before we write a line of code. Then we build the automation into the systems you already run, ship working software in weeks, and train you and your team before we call it done.

Everything is yours: code, data, documentation. We support it through a contract or as-needed, and being your neighbor means help is a short drive, not a support ticket into the void.

    WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH
    • Production software running inside your systems
    • Training and documentation for you and your team
    • Local support, sized to how you operate

// why a redondo owner hires us

The engineering firm that actually lives in Redondo Beach.

  • Literally based in Redondo Beach.

This is home. The founder lives and works here, so we're the neighbor you might see at the farmers market, not a phone number in another time zone. The first call is over Google Meet, and when a visit helps, it's a short drive to you, never a travel line item.

  • Senior, US-based engineers only.

Behind the local address is a team that's led production systems in Fortune 500 healthcare, payments, aerospace, and high-growth startups. Every engineer is a US citizen working in the United States. No offshore handoffs, no junior learning on your retainer.

  • Fixed quotes, no open-ended billing.

A defined-scope build is a fixed quote you approve before we start, and changes are quoted, never absorbed into a runaway invoice. Support runs as a retainer, and where a flat rate doesn't make sense we work hourly against a cap you approve.

  • You own everything we build.

Code, data, and documentation are yours from day one. No lock-in, no platform you're renting forever, nothing that holds your operation hostage if you ever want to bring it in-house.

// questions

What Redondo owners ask first.

Are you really in Redondo Beach?

Yes, and not in the marketing sense. The founder lives and works in Redondo Beach; this is home, not a page we spun up to rank for the name. We won't post a street address, because there's no storefront to visit and a founder-led firm doesn't need one. What it means for you is simple: the first call is over Google Meet, but when the Roadmap starts and it's time to come watch the work, we probably pass your place on a normal day.

Do you only work with big companies?

No. Owner-operated is the sweet spot. Most of our Redondo work is for the practice, office, or shop where the owner is still the one who understands the one spreadsheet everything runs on. If your evenings disappear into invoicing, scheduling, intake, and paperwork you've already typed once, you're exactly who this is for. Small and owner-run is an advantage here, not a disqualifier.

What does it cost?

There's no published price, because the right number depends on what we're automating. The first call is free. If we go further, the two-week Automation Roadmap is a single fixed fee quoted on that call, and any defined-scope build is a fixed quote you approve before we start. Ongoing support runs as a retainer sized to your operation, and when a flat rate doesn't make sense, we work hourly against a cap you approve. No open-ended billing running in the background.

Do we have to come to you?

No, it's the other way around. The first call is 30 minutes over Google Meet, so there's nothing to schedule around to get an honest read. When a visit makes sense, usually early on when the Roadmap starts, we come to you, anywhere in the South Bay, because how intake or invoicing really flows rarely shows itself over a webinar. Being based in town means on-site is never a production, it's just a short drive.

What kinds of Redondo Beach businesses fit?

The owner-operated ones. Medical, dental, and healthcare practices; law and accounting offices; real estate and property management; the Riviera Village and Artesia / Aviation corridor small businesses; and the King Harbor and pier marine and hospitality trade. A lot of our neighbors live in Redondo and run a shop over in Torrance, so the manufacturing back office fits too. The common thread isn't the industry, it's an owner re-keying the same paperwork every night.
